The Oxford County Committee of the Maine Community Foundation invites you to join a celebration of grantmaking in Oxford County from 5 to 7 p.m. on October 11 at The Gem Theater in Bethel.

Established in 1997 as a permanent charitable resource, the Oxford County Fund has awarded nearly 158 grants totaling more than $485,000 to support nonprofits working to improve the quality of life in Oxford County. The fund was established with an anonymous gift. The fund's advisory committee awarded the first grants to Community Concepts and the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition, among other nonprofits in the region.
